Option 1: Lock Translation for Specific Students
Step 1: Open the Students Tab
Go to the Students tab.
Select your class.
Find the student you want to update.
Click the three dots (...) next to the student’s name.
Step 2: Lock the Translation Language
Open Support Settings.
Check Lock Translation Language.
Click Save.
Option 2: Lock Translation for an Entire Class
Step 1: Open Class Translation Settings
Go to the Students tab.
Select your class.
Click Apply To All next to Translation Language.
Step 2: Apply the Lock
Check Lock Translation Language.
Click Apply To All to save the change.
Student Experience
Once translation is locked:
students will automatically see content in the selected language
the translation language cannot be changed during assignments
the globe icon will no longer allow students to switch languages
