Before You Begin
To complete setup, you will need:
Schoology Administrator access
permission to manage integrations for your district
access to your district’s Schoology environment
Schoology rostering is connected through Edlink.
Connect Schoology Through Edlink

Create an Edlink Account
Open the integration link above.
Create an Edlink account.
You must be a Schoology Administrator to complete setup.
Select Your Data Source
After creating your account:
Create a district within Edlink.
Select Schoology as your LMS/data source.
Choose your preferred data storage location.
Click Confirm.
Enter Your Schoology URL
If your district uses a custom Schoology URL, enter it in one of the following formats:
https://myschool.schoology.com
or
https://schoology.myschool.edu
Be sure to include https://.
If your district uses the default Schoology login page (https://app.schoology.com/login), leave the custom URL field blank or select No Custom URL.
Connect and Authorize
Click Connect.
Authorize Edlink when prompted by Schoology.
After authorization, you will automatically return to Edlink.
Validate the Integration
Click Validate Your Configuration.
Select Continue Setup.
Once setup is complete, you will see a confirmation screen indicating the integration was successful.
Allowlist Magma Math Domains
To avoid connectivity or firewall issues, ensure the following domains are allowlisted on your network and content filters:

If your district uses filtering systems such as:
GoGuardian
Lightspeed
other web filtering tools
please ensure these domains are allowlisted there as well.
Prepare Student Devices
iPads
If your district uses an MDM solution such as:
Jamf
Mosyle
another device management platform
deploy the Magma Math app to student devices before launch.
If no MDM is used, students can download the app directly from the App Store.
Laptops and Chromebooks
For the best experience, students should access Magma Math using Google Chrome.
Other browsers may not fully support all platform features.
Important Notes
Ensure teachers and students can access Magma Math through Schoology.
Schoology roster syncs run nightly.
SIS updates such as enrollments and class changes will automatically sync into Magma once shared through Schoology and Edlink.
