The Canvas is where students show their mathematical thinking while solving problems. Students can write, draw, move objects, and add problem content to organize their work.
Show Your Work
Students can use the Canvas to:
write and draw
sketch diagrams and models
annotate problems
organize their solution strategies
Student work is saved automatically while completing an assignment.
Move and Organize Your Work
Students can use the Select tool to organize their work on the Canvas. With the Select tool, students can:
move and resize objects
select multiple objects at once
move groups of objects together
delete multiple objects at the same time
To select multiple objects, drag a selection box around them or hold Shift while selecting individual objects.
Students can use the Select tool to interact with objects on the Canvas.
Using the Select tool, students can:
move objects
resize objects
reposition work to better organize their solution
Add Problem Text and Images
Students can add problem text and images directly to the Canvas using the Paste button.
This makes it easier to reference important information while solving a problem, especially for students who prefer not to drag or manually copy content.
To paste text or an image:
Open the problem description or image.
Click Paste.
The content will appear on the Canvas, where it can be moved and resized as needed.
