Note: Preventive Maintenance events can only be created for assets that are either:
Assigned directly to a customer (Connection), or
Assigned to a production line that is assigned to a customer.
If the asset is not assigned, the Preventive Maintenance tab will not appear.
Steps to Create a Preventive Maintenance Event
Open the Asset
Navigate to the asset in My Assets you want to create a preventive maintenance event for.Go to the Preventive Maintenance Tab
Click on the “Preventive Maintenance” tab.Click “Add Event”
This opens the event creation form.Fill in the Event Details
Event Name: Enter a clear, descriptive name for the event.
Start Date:
Note: The start date cannot be today or the next calendar day.
Frequency:
Do Not Repeat: The event will trigger only once.
Repeat: The event will recur based on your selected interval.
Set Repeat Every: X Day/Week/Month/Year
Set Auto-Create Work Order: X Day/Week/Month/Year before the event
Add a Description (Optional)
Provide additional context or instructions for your team.Add Procedures (Optional)
Click on “Add Procedures”.
A modal will open showing procedure templates.
Select the procedures you want to include in the event.
Click “Assign Procedure” to confirm.
Add Parts (Optional)
Click on “Add Parts.”
A modal will open with a list of parts.
Select the parts and enter the required quantity for each.
Click “Assign Part” to confirm.
Click “Create Event”
The PME will now be listed under the asset and will automatically generate a work order with the assigned procedures and parts according to the schedule.
How to Edit or Delete a Preventive Maintenance Event
To make changes or remove an existing PME:
Go to the Preventive Maintenance Tab
Open the asset and navigate to the “Preventive Maintenance” tab.Click the Ellipsis (⋯)
On the PME you want to modify, click the ellipsis icon on the right.Edit PME
Select “Edit” from the dropdown.
The PME details will open in a side drawer.
Make your changes and click “Update” to save.
Delete PME
Click the ellipsis icon and select “Delete.”
A confirmation modal will appear.
Click “Yes, Delete” to permanently remove the event.
