Procedure Assignment to Teams

You can now assign procedures to specific teams, giving you greater control over who can access and work with each procedure.

What’s New:

  • In Settings, you can now assign each procedure to one or more teams.

  • Team members will only be able to access procedures that are assigned to their team.

  • On the Work Order detail page, all attached procedures will still be visible to everyone, but users will only be able to open procedures they have access to.

  • Once a procedure attached to a Work Order is finalised, it becomes accessible to all users, and anyone can download the PDF—regardless of team access.

Important Note for Existing Customers:

To avoid disrupting existing workflows, we’ve automatically assigned all procedures to all teams for customers already using the team feature. You can adjust the access needed from the procedure configuration page.

Coming Soon:

  • We will soon add a team dropdown in the Create/Edit Procedure form to allow easier assignment during creation.

  • Going forward, if a new procedure is not assigned to any team, it will not be visible to any team members until access is configured.

This update helps improve access control, streamline workflows, and support more structured team-based operations.
