What are Internal Procedures?
Internal Procedures allow you to document information that is strictly for internal use. Even if these procedures are attached to an external work order, they will not be visible to customers. This ensures that sensitive or operational-only content remains private.
When to Use Internal Procedures
Use internal procedures when you need to:
Record steps, notes, or checks that are not relevant to the customer.
Maintain a clear separation between customer-facing and internal documentation.
Document training, compliance, or quality control workflows for internal teams.
How to Create an Internal Procedure
Navigate to the Procedures section.
Click on Create New Procedure.
Fill in the procedure form as usual.
Enable the toggle labeled “Mark as Internal Procedure”.
Once enabled, the procedure will be created as internal-only.
⚠️ Note: This setting cannot be changed later. You won’t be able to convert an internal procedure into an external one (or vice versa).
Click Save to create the procedure.
What Happens After It's Created?
The procedure will be stored in your procedure library without the globe icon indicating that it’s internal.
It can be attached to any work order, including external ones.
Customers will never see internal procedures, regardless of work order visibility.
