Product Details Overview

Learn how to navigate the product detail view in Makula Field Service and understand the information available in each tab.

How do I view product details?

Navigation: Open your Field Service workspace, then select Products from the sidebar. Click on any product to open the detail view.


General Information tab

The General Information tab displays:

  • Product Image: Visual reference for the product

  • Product Name: The name of the product

  • Product Model: Unique identifier for the product

  • Description: Details about the product


Documentation tab

The Documentation tab contains two sections:

  • External Documents: Inherited by assets and visible to customers if a portal is issued

  • Internal Documents: Inherited by assets but visible only to your internal team

To upload documents:

  1. Click the + icon in the External or Internal Documents section.

  2. Select Upload from the dropdown.

  3. Choose files or folders to upload.

  4. Click Upload.


Parts tab

The Parts tab shows:

  • All parts assigned to the product

  • Part image, name, description, and article number

  • Click + Add Part to assign parts from your inventory

  • Parts assigned to a product are inherited by all assets created from it


Procedures tab

The Procedures tab shows:

  • All procedures assigned to the product

  • These procedures are shared with customers in the shared workspace if the product is enabled in the customer portal


Assets tab

The Assets tab displays:

  • All assets created from this product

  • Click on an asset to view its details
