How do I access the Shared Drive in a portal?

Navigation: Open your Field Service workspace, then select Portals from the sidebar. Click on a portal to open it, then go to the Shared Drive tab.


What is the Shared Drive?

The Shared Drive allows you to share files and documentation with your customers, and receive files uploaded by them. It provides a central location for exchanging documents related to the portal.


How do I switch between shared files?

The Shared Drive has two toggles:

  • Shared with me: Shows files uploaded by the portal user (your customer)

  • Shared by me: Shows files you have uploaded to share with the customer

Click on either toggle to view the respective files.


How do I upload files to the Shared Drive?

  1. Open the portal you want to upload files to.

  2. Go to the Shared Drive tab.

  3. Make sure you are in the Shared by me view.

  4. Click Upload to add files.

  5. Select the files you want to share.

Uploaded files will be visible to customers who have access to the portal.


How do I create folders in the Shared Drive?

  1. Go to the Shared Drive tab in the portal.

  2. Click Create Folder.

  3. Enter a folder name.

  4. Click Create.

You can use folders to organise your shared documentation.
