Who can create them?
Only internal users can create multi asset work orders and sub work orders.
Supervisors and technicians can only create them on assets they have access to.
Team members cannot see assets on a multi asset work order that they do not have access to. They also cannot open sub work orders on those assets or assign parts to them.
What do portal users see?
Portal users can view multi asset work orders, including the asset count, names and serial numbers.
They can view sub work orders in an accordion under the parent, including procedures and parts, and move between parent and sub work orders.
Portal users cannot create multi asset work orders or sub work orders.
What if an asset is not shared with the portal?
If an asset on a multi asset work order is not shared with the portal, that asset, its parts and any sub work orders on it are hidden from portal users, even if the other assets are shared.
The same applies if an asset is later unassigned from the company. It stays on the work order but is hidden from the portal, along with its parts and sub work orders.
