Editing Production Line Details
Open a production line for which you want to edit the details.
On the production line detail page and in the Overview tab click on the “Edit” pencil icon.
You can update the following information
Production Line Name: Update the name of the production line.
Production Line ID: Update the production line ID. Make sure you add a unique ID that does not already exist on the platform.
Facility: Assign or un-assign the production line from the facility.
If the production line is unassigned, then all machines assigned to the production line will also be unassigned from the facility. The facility will no longer have access to the machines.
If the production line is assigned to another facility, then all the machines assigned to the production line will also be assigned to the facility.
Click on “Update” to save the information for the machine.
Deleting Production Line
You can delete the production line in two ways
Delete Production Line from Production Line List Page
Go to the “Assets” > “Production lines” tab and find or search the production line you want to delete.
Click on the “Bin” icon with the production line ID.
Confirm on the pop-up to delete the production line. Please note that it is an irreversible action and the production line will be permanently deleted from the platform.
The machines assigned to the production line will not be deleted from the platform.
If the production line was assigned to a facility before deleting, all the machines will be unassigned from the facility and they will no longer have access to the machines.
Delete Production Line from Production Line Detail Page
Go to “Assets” > “Production line” tab and open a production line detail page you want to delete.
In the Overview section, click on the “Edit” pencil icon to open the Edit production line details pop-up.
In the pop-up, you can delete the production line by clicking “Delete production line”.
Confirm on the pop-up to delete the production line. Please note that it is an irreversible action and the production line will be permanently deleted from the platform.
The machines assigned to the production line will not be deleted from the platform.
If the production line was assigned to a facility before deleting, all the machines will be unassigned from the facility and they will no longer have access to the machines.
