Editing Machine Template
Only the “Machine Templates” type of the template information can be edited.
Navigate to Assets > Templates and open the template you want to edit.
In the “General Information” section, click on the “Edit” pencil icon to open the pop-up to edit the details.
The following information can be edited
Image: You can upload an image or delete/replace an existing image.
Template Title: You can update the template name. If a machine was created with the template name, then updating the template name will not update the existing machine name.
Click on “Update” to save the changes.
Deleting Machine Template from the Machine Template Page
Navigate to Assets > Machine Templates and open the template you want to edit.
In the “General Information” section, click on the “Edit” pencil icon to open the pop-up to delete the machine.
Select “Delete Machine Template” to delete the template.
If there are machines created from the template, you need to delete all the machines first and then you can delete the template. The “Delete Machine Template” will be disabled.
Deleting Machine Template from the Machine Templates List Page
Navigate to Assets > Machine Templates and find or search the template you want to delete.
Click on the “Bin” icon on the right side of the “Created Machines” to delete the template.
If there are machines created from the template, you need to delete all the machines first and then you can delete the template. The “Bin” icon will be disabled and you can see the tooltip telling you to delete the machines first.
