Assign Production Lines to the Team
Steps:
Navigate to Users & Teams in the Company Settings and click on “Teams”.
Go to the team that you want to assign the production lines to.
Select the Production Lines tab.
Select “+ Assign production line”.
Select one or more production lines from the dropdown.
Select ”Add production line” to add the production line(s) to the team.
The team tag will be added to the Production Line detail page.
All the machines of the production line will be added to the team.
Team members will also have access to the production line’s customers in the customer's module. In the customer, members can only see the production line (and its machines) that are assigned to their team.
The members can see the work orders for the machines that belong to the production line assigned to the team.
NOTES:
If there are work orders from the production line machines that are assigned to a user or the user was added as a follower
The user will stay as an assignee/follower of the work order if the user is not a member of any other team.
The user will stay as an assignee/follower of the work order if the work order machine is assigned to a team in which the user is a member. The user will stay as an assignee in this case even though the customer is not assigned to the user team.
The user will be removed as an assignee/follower of the work order if the user is a member of a team that does not have access to the customer, the production line of the machine, or the machine itself.
Unassign Production Line from the Team
Steps:
Navigate to Users & Teams in the Company Settings and click on “Teams”.
Go to the team that you want to unassign the customers from.
Select the Production Lines tab.
Click on the “-” icon with the production line to unassign it from the team.
All the machines of the production line will also be removed from the team.
You can individually assign the machine to the team and the members of the team will have access to the machine and all of its work orders.
NOTES:
If there are work orders for the production line’s machine that are assigned to a team user or the user was added as a follower.
The user will stay as an assignee/follower of the work order if the user is part of another team that has access to the production line or the work order machine.
The user will be removed as an assignee/follower of the work order if the user is a member of a team that does not have access to the Production line or the work order machine.
