How to Assign the Machine to the Production Line

You can assign new machines to the production line by clicking the “+ Assign machine” in the Product Line detail view > Machine tab.
Select the machine that you want to assign to the production line from the pop-up window.
- You can assign multiple machines at the same time.
- The pop-up window will only show the machines that are not assigned to other production lines and facilities.
- If you want to add a machine to a production line that is already assigned to a facility. You can do that by unassigning the machine from the facility first and then assigning the machine to the production line.
- A machine at a time can either be assigned to the production line or to the facility. If the machine is assigned to a production line and the production line is assigned to a facility. Then the machine is indirectly assigned to the facility and can no longer be assigned to other facilities or production lines.
If the machines are assigned to a production line and the production line is assigned to a facility, then these machines will not be shown in the Machines tab on the Facility Detail Overview page.
