You can assign a Production Line to a facility in two ways
Assign a Production Line to the Facility in the Production Line Detail View
Navigate to “Assets” > “Production lines” and open the production line that you want to assign to the facility.
In the “General Information” tab of the detail page, click on the “Edit” pencil icon to open the Edit production line Detail pop-up.
In the Edit window, select the facility from the “Facility” dropdown to which you want to assign the production line.
One production line can only be assigned to one facility. If the production li is assigned to a machine, it cannot be assigned to another machine at the same time.
You can also assign the production to another facility by selecting a new facility from the “Facility” dropdown. Please note that all the machines that are assigned to the production line will also be assigned to the new facility. The previous facility will no longer have access to the production line and its machines.
Click on the “Update” button to save the changes.
Assign the Production Line to a Facility in the Facility Detail View
Navigate to “Facilities” and open the facility you want to assign to the production line.
In the “Production line” tab of the detail page, click on “+ Assign production line” to open the pop-up window to select from the available production lines on the platform. Only production lines that are not assigned to other facilities will be shown.
You can select a single or multiple available production lines to assign to the facility.
Click on the “Assign production line” button to assign the production line(s) to the facility.
