This article describes how you can create work orders from the email

You can seamlessly create work orders directly from emails and attach them to the respective work order for improved organization and documentation. You can view the attached emails within the work order page for comprehensive context and reference.

Steps:

  1. Open the email that you want to create a work order for in the Email module.

  2. Select “Create work order” at the top of the email.

  3. Fill in the work order form and submit it.

  4. A new work order will be created in the Work Orders module.

  5. Click on the work order ID at the top of the email to directly go the the work order page.

  6. You can see the email attached to the work order.

NOTES: Any further communication on the email will also be shown on the email attached to the work order.
