Assign an Email to Existing Work Orders

This article describes how you can assign an email to an existing work order to centralize the communication

To assign email to an existing work order

Steps:

  1. Open the email that you want to assign to an existing work order.

  2. Click on “Assign to work order” at the top of the email.

  3. In the work orders window select a work order that you want to assign the email. Only one work order can be selected.

  4. Select “Assign work order” to assign the email to the work order.

  5. Click on the work order ID to directly go to the work order.

NOTES:

  1. Email can be assigned to any work order irrespective of the status of the work order.

  2. One email can only be assigned to only one work order.

  3. Multiple emails can be assigned to one work order.
