How to Assign and Unassign Customers from the Team

This article describes how you can assign and unassign the customers from the team

Assign Customers to the Team

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Users & Teams in the Company Settings and click on “Teams”.

  2. Go to the team that you want to assign the customer.

  3. Select the Customers tab.

  4. Select “+ Assign customer”.

  5. Select one or more customers from the dropdown.

  6. Select ”Add customer” to add the customer(s) to the team.

    1. All the Production lines and machines of the customer will be added to the team.

NOTES:

  • If there are work orders from the customer that are assigned to a user or the user was added as a follower

    • The user will stay as an assignee/follower of the work order if the user is not a member of any other team.

    • The user will stay as an assignee/follower of the work order if the work order machine is assigned to a team in which the user is a member. The user will stay as an assignee in this case even though the customer is not assigned to the user team.

    • The user will be removed as an assignee/follower of the work order if the user is a member of a team that does not have access to the customer, the production line of the machine, or the machine itself.


Unassign Customers from the Team

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Users & Teams in the Company Settings and click on “Teams”.

  2. Go to the team that you want to unassign the customer from.

  3. Select the Customers tab.

  4. Click on the “-” icon with the customer to unassign the customer from the team.

    1. All the Production lines and machines of the customer will also be removed from the team.

  5. You can individually assign the production line to the team and the members of the team will have access to the production line and all the work orders of the production line machines.

  6. You can individually assign the machine to the team and the members of the team will have access to all the work orders of the machine

NOTES:

  • If there are work orders from the customer that are assigned to a team user or the user was added as a follower.

    • The user will stay as an assignee/follower of the work order from the customer if the user is part of another team that has access to the customer (assigned to the team).

    • The user will be removed as an assignee/follower of the work order if the user is a member of a team that does not have access to the customer.
