When can I update my name?
Once your Roam account is verified, completely changing your name isn’t allowed. But, if you have updated your NIN and need your Roam account to reflect this change, we can assist. Any new name must match your updated legal records.
For example, if your BVN shows GAZO NDIDI KAYODE, and you’ve legally updated your NIN to a new name, for example FATIA KAYODE NDIDI, you can request a name change to match your updated identity.
How to request a name update

Provide your full name: Make sure to include your first, middle, and last names exactly as they appear on your updated NIN and BVN.
Submit proof: Provide a newspaper publication showing your official name change, along with any supporting documentation from your NIN update.
