How do other co-workers or staff members scan ID cards?

Learn three ways other people can help you scan ID cards.

There are three ways other coaches, staff members, or volunteers can help scan participant ID cards.

Join a Live Session

For the helpers who don't have a Marathon Kids account, they can use the Join A Live Session feature on the scanner app to join your live session to scan ID cards.

Add Supporters

Inviting supporters, people to help you manage your account, allows them to have access to:

  • Supporters with Coach Permission:

    • Start their own live session on the mobile scanner app

    • Add miles/minutes manually

    • Pull reports and view the data

    • Invite and approve parent submissions

  • Supporters with Assistant Coach Permission:

    • Start a Live Scanning session on the mobile scanner app

    • View the data

Join an Ongoing Activity

For your supporters that do have a Marathon Kids account, they can Join an Ongoing activity once they log into the scanner app to combine all scans into one session.
