How to Get Started in the Partnership Program

You've seen what we offer, now how do you get involved?

Partnership Program Introduction

The Matcherino Partnership program is there to grow and sustain your events and community. To help in doing so, Matcherino provides you with a full suite of tools to ensure you can grow and build an eye-catching prize pool.

Support for your event can be provided through:

  1. Direct Donations

  2. Entry Fees

  3. Sponsor Quests™ (Partner, Partner+)

  4. Marketplace Sales (Partner, Partner+)

  5. Marketing Coupons (Partner+ Exclusive)

The Partnership Program sets standards for tournament organizers to be eligible for program advancement. They are most often related to having Sponsor Quests™ completions, average prize pool goals and stream viewership.

The New Partner Checklist

  1. Fill out our Partnership Application Form -> https://matcherino.com/partnership

  2. Join the Matcherino Discord Server -> https://discord.gg/matcherino <- 

  3. Build a Matcherino event page, including a link to your event/organizations discord channel and/or a contact email. You can read how to set that up from scratch in another guide here

  4. Add 2 to 4 of the currently available Sponsor Quests™ to your event (Event Admin Panel -> Sponsor Quests™) - including the Domestic (if you're in the US/Canada) or International (if you're from anywhere else) Premium Quests from the 'Sponsorship' account. These are advertisers who want your users' clicks on a relevant social media account and will pay money directly into your prize pool for them.

    Individual users can only utilize a campaign action once, so you may want to consider rotating to new Sponsor Quests™ when available. You can read more about Sponsor Quests™ in our guide for partners here

    A quick trick to see Premium quests is to use the search bar over the Quest List and typing in 'Domestic' or 'International' to see all active Premium quests at once.

  5. We highly recommend that you utilize our customizable stream CLR to integrate your crowdfunding marketing and your broadcast itself. You can read more about this feature here.

  6. We recommend that you choose at least two marketplace items from our store (Event Admin Panel -> Marketplace -> Sponsor Items is your best bet, global store items are not recommended). If you are unsure about what to add, click into 'Sponsored Items' and search for 'Matcherino' in the title section for event friendly cuts.

  7. We recommend that you create and add at least one self-made community marketplace item. You can find more ideas about these in our intercom guide. If you need help in learning how to create marketplace items from the ground up, you can check our other marketplace guide. The most commonly used option by new partners is to sell a Discord donor role anywhere from $2 - 10. Be sure to use the Request Custom Data field to get any related details you would need to complete a sale (ie. 'What is your Discord#ID?")"

    Checklist items 4, 6 and 7 are required on a page to be eligible for Contribution Codes at the Partner+ status.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Please note that by participating in our partnership program that you will not be allowed to have your organization take a cut of the prize pool at the end of your event. There are rare cases where a waiver for this rule is necessary but each request is handled on a case-by-case basis. 

Violations of this policy can lead to your removal from the program.

If your organization is looking to monetize an event in some ways there are options available when it comes to Sponsor Quests™ Partner cuts, self-made Marketplace listings and through entry fees. 

Your Goal

The goal for advancing in the partnership program is to achieve a prize pool of $80 on average while maintaining a moderate to high rate of Sponsor Quests™ actions per event with the tools provided in the platform. Please note that if you run paid entry events via ticketing (for venues) or entry fees raised through these methods, it will also count toward your metrics, as will money donated on a recurring basis from an organization sponsor.

These goals will be further clarified as we move forward.

Partnership staff will evaluate your performance against metric requirements and if you meet the requirements to advance, you can be moved up Partner+ and become eligible for Marketing Codes and up to a 10% self payout at that point.

Conduct Policy

Matcherino Partners are held to a high standard of personal conduct. We will investigate claims made against our Partners thoroughly, and any instances of conduct that violates platform rules, instances of fraud or instances of other illegal activity may be grounds for immediate removal from the program and platform. 

Being a Matcherino Partner is a privilege, not a right, and we reserve the right to both deny applications and remove partners from the program as we see fit.
