A project in Matidor is the basic unit to organize information and files. You can think of a project as a folder that contains work, budgets, costs, files, communications, GIS and anything related to the project.
Opening a project
There are many ways to open a project, for example, you can:
Use the search to find the project and click on it.
Navigate the map to the desire location and click on the project marker
.Browse a list of projects in a portfolio, and click on one of them to open it.
Project summary
When you open a project, the screen is divided into two parts: On the left is a panel displaying any non-GIS information; on the right, is a project map display all GIS drawings and layers.
Project fields
Note: Only Workspace Managers, Project Managers and Guest Managers can update project fields.
You can track different kinds of information in a project. For example, you can view or update the project fields such as the project title, schedule, status, manager. You can also view or update other custom fields defined by the project template. See Templates for more information.
Project work
Project work, as the name says, represent the work required to complete the project. You can add work for yourself or assign to others. See Work for more information.
Project budgets
Project budget helps you to keep track of the financial health of a project. You can manage one or multiple budgets and add cost items to them over time. See Budget for more information.
Project costs
Project costs, a.k.a., cost tickets, can be added to the budgets in the project. The project costs can be manually added by users, or automatically added via an integration with a 3rd party accounting software. See Cost for more information.
Project files
You can upload project files and photos to a project.
Note: The project files are limited to 50MB per file, and will count towards the total storage of the workspace.
Project comments
You can add comments and use the @ and # tags to mention someone, or tag an item, respectively.
Project map
When you open a project, the map will zoom in to display the the project marker and its surrounding area, along with any drawings and layers added to this project. In addition, you will see any nearby project with markers slightly opaqued, and any subprojects with markers hollow. For example
Adding subprojects
You can add subprojects to a project. Subprojects behave exactly like a regular project, with its own templates, work, budgets, costs, files, etc.
Note: You cannot add subprojects to a subproject.
Subscribing to project updates
You can click on the star icon
next to the project title to subscribe to the project. You will receive project news in emails according to the frequency you set in your personal settings.
Sharing projects with guests
By default, only regular (non-guest) users can access projects in a workspace. You must share a project with guests for them to have access. Workspace Managers, Project Managers and Guest Managers can share projects with Guest Contributors or Guest Viewers.

Exporting a project
You can export a project in PDF or XLS format.
When exporting to PDF, you can customize it by selecting a date range of items to include, which items to include, as well as what custom fields to include:

Each item will be exported as a list in separate tabs in the same XLS file.
