March’s release focuses on improving project and portfolio workflows, enhancing data import and integration capabilities, expanding mobile functionality, and refining overall usability across both web and mobile platforms.
🚀 Website Improvements
Enhanced KMZ Layer Transparency
Imported KMZ layers now support improved transparency settings, giving you better control over how map data is displayed.
Improved Portfolio Switching Behavior
When switching between portfolios, views and filters are now preserved per portfolio. Each portfolio resets to its own default view for consistency.
Create Work and Budgets Across Multiple Projects
You can now create work items or budgets across multiple projects at once. This removes the need to enter each project individually.
Deltek Integration Update
When selecting a budget to sync, the project number from VP is now displayed for better visibility and accuracy.
File Description Field Added
Files now include a description field, making it easier to organize and understand uploaded content.
Project Manager Selection on Import
You can now assign a project manager directly during project import.
CSV Budget Integration
Upload CSV files containing budget codes, cost codes, and amounts to your FTP location. The nightly sync will automatically update corresponding budgets in Matidor.
Improved Expand Button Design
The expand-to-table button has been redesigned with a clearer icon and hover message for better usability.
Convert Project Templates to Subprojects
You can now convert existing project templates into subproject templates.
Resizable Columns in Table View
Table columns can now be resized, allowing for a more flexible and customizable view.
Portfolio Template Filtering
Selecting a single template now automatically loads all its columns.
Parent and Subproject Enhancements
Subproject templates are now clearly distinguishable in the UI
You can define a template as a subproject template when creating it
Subproject creation is available in the project summary when applicable templates exist
Auto-Save Input Fields
Changes in input fields are now automatically saved when navigating away, including tab switches.
Excel Drawing Import Improvements
Map drawing names using spreadsheet columns during import
Imported spreadsheets appear as editable drawing layers
Works for both Workspace and Project layers
Filter imported drawings using custom fields
URLs are automatically detected and clickable
Styling and labels can be adjusted using existing drawing tools
📱 Mobile Improvements
Pause Location Tracking
Location tracking now pauses when opening projects or tasks to prevent interference with map navigation.
Budgets and Costs on Mobile
Users can now quickly add costs and view budget information directly from mobile.
Improved Offline Behavior
Disable offline buttons are no longer shown when there is no signal.
Updated Project Screen UI
“My Projects” renamed to “Projects”
Added back button for easier navigation
Removed “Unsynced” tab
“All” shows all active projects
“Offline” shows only downloaded projects
Last sync time is displayed
Green cloud prompts offline disable when no changes pending
Red indicators show pending sync changes
Support for Non-Photo File Uploads
You can now upload non-photo files from mobile devices.
