Release Notes: 2026 May

May’s release focuses on improving project organization, refining permissions and notifications, enhancing offline and mobile workflows, and expanding visibility across projects, tasks, and exports.


:rocket: Matidor Qi (Website) Improvements

Sync drawings via FTP

You can now automatically sync drawings into Matidor using FTP connections, making it easier to manage drawing updates across projects.

Reducing excessive notifications to PMs

Project Managers will no longer receive notifications about unnecessary work updates, reducing notification noise and improving communication relevance.

Grouping subprojects and subtasks under parents

Subprojects and subtasks are now grouped under their respective parents for improved hierarchy management and easier navigation.

Importing subprojects

Users can now import subprojects directly through spreadsheet imports and project creation workflows.

Add parent fields selection to PDF export

Users can now select parent project fields when exporting PDFs.

Handle duplicate project names on spreadsheet import

Spreadsheet imports now properly handle duplicate project names to reduce import conflicts and improve data consistency.

Add budget creation option for CSV-based budget integration

CSV-based budget integration now supports budget creation.

Updates to Project Contributor and Guest Contributor roles

Permissions have been updated for Project Contributor and Guest Contributor roles, allowing CRUD permissions for: Project Layers, Work, Files and Costs. Guest Contributors can now also update project summary details.

Remove default work status filter in lists and tables

Default work status filters (status=Open) have been removed from lists and tables, allowing users to see both open and closed work items by default.


:iphone:Mobile Go (Mobile) Improvements

Enable PDF preview on mobile

PDF files can now be previewed directly on mobile devices, including while offline.

Major mobile navigation upgrade

The mobile navigation experience has been redesigned, with a bottom navigation bar that user can easily navigate between Home, Projects, Tasks and Settings. The GIS layer panel is also updated to allow easier toggling of layers visibility.


:ladybug:Matidor Qi (Website) Bug Fixes

Fixed issues including:

  • Date filter “Between” causing errors

  • Incorrect opacity range display in Work Template Settings

  • Date filters not considering time zones

  • Dropdown numeric field ordering not respecting template configuration

  • Last Modified By filter not working

  • Timeline columns resetting to default in All Projects

  • Email notifications being sent for self-assigned work items and subtasks

  • Resend Invite not sending emails after users are re-enabled

  • Remove column error in Project Timeline view

  • Date filter “Between” displaying the previous day in filter details

  • Missing template title and expand arrow in grouped work timeline rows

  • Work approval actions incorrectly visible to Project Contributors

  • Hint tooltip overlapping with field hover messages

  • Project chips missing in Summary tab after refresh from Work tab


:iphone:Matidor Go (Mobile) Bug Fixes

Fixed issues including:

  • Photos uploaded offline missing GPS data in work attachments

  • Spacing issues in the project summary screen

  • Delete file option visible to Guest Viewer users

  • Guest Viewer users being able to edit files

  • Guest Viewer users being able to upload files in project files

  • Subproject fields not editable

  • Project details fields editable for Guest Contributor users when restricted

  • Guest Viewers being able to read comments without mentions
