How to Update the Address for an Order
If you need to update the address for an order, you can easily do so through Shopify. Follow the steps below to ensure your order is delivered to the correct address.
Step 1: Navigate to "Update Customer Information" in Shopify
To update the address for an order, you will need to access the "Update Customer Information" section in Shopify. This can be found by logging into your Shopify account and clicking on the "Orders" tab. From there, select the order you need to update and click on the "Update Customer Information" button.
Step 2: Update the Address
Once you have accessed the "Update Customer Information" section, you will be able to make changes to the address for your order. Simply enter the new address and click "Save" to update the information.
Step 3: Release the Order for Fulfillment
After updating the address, you will need to release the order for fulfillment. This will ensure that the updated address is used for delivery.
Step 4: Delivery to the Updated Address
Once the order has been released for fulfillment, it will be delivered to the updated address. We strive to deliver orders as quickly as possible, so it is important to make any necessary address changes as soon as possible.
Please note that if the order has already been marked as fulfilled and tracking is in progress in the application (as shown below), we are unable to make changes to the address. In this case, the order will be delivered to the original address provided.
