We all forget passwords sometimes. Using the one-time password function, customers can still log in and place an order.
To get a one-time password, all the customers has to do is click "Send me a one time use password" in the Log In area.
The customer will be prompted to enter their email or phone number.
If they enter the phone number associated with their account, they will receive a text with a one-time use password within a few seconds.
If they enter the email address associated with their account, they will get an email with a one-time password.
Some users may experience issues navigating the one time password function.
The main confusion comes from one of the following problems:
Expired temporary passwords (one time password can't be used after a few minutes for security reasons).
Clicking "send one time password" more than once and then entering any password other than the most recent (older one-time passwords become inactive as soon as a newer password is sent).
Cookies or password managers saving old passwords (so that the browser keeps entering an old/wrong password in the password field).
The customers may have requested a password to an email or phone number not associated with their account (for example, if their phone isn't linked to their account or if they have multiple email addresses).
Lastly, typos happen. If the customer makes any mistake entering their email or phone number, they will not be able to receive the one-time password.
Now that I'm logged in, how do I change my password?
There are two ways to change your password in Meadow, both in the Update Profile area:
Update Password: Enter the New Password you want in the top field; in the bottom field (Password) enter either your current password or the one-time password used to log in above.
Update Contact Info: Click the "Forgot your password?" link and a message will be sent to you with a link to reset your password. This can be helpful if the one-time password used above has already expired
