Keep track of goods on hand and make sure everything adds up. Using cycle counts makes it easy to confirm your inventory is accurate and losses are detectable.
To get started, click the New Cycle Count button
You can search products by name and add them (of all items for products with options) with a click.
Alternatively, you can scan items into a cycle count if you have created a barcode for that product.
The number displayed under Stock reflects the amount of that product expected in inventory.
Confirm the amount on hand, enter it under Quantity, and any discrepancy will be displayed under Diff. You can use notes for lost, found, damaged, etc. products.
As you add products, click the Update Cycle Count button at the bottom to save what you've entered.
You can leave a cycle count open and come back to finish it later. By selecting an open cycle count, you will be able to pick up where you left off counting your stock and reconciling any discrepancies between expected and existing.
When you are finished adding and counting products, you can select Finalize Cycle Count to update the inventory (and make any changes necessary to the product quantities in the system).
Changes to inventory in cycle counts will update the product quantities in the system. If you want to measure the cost of goods, be sure to enter new inventory into the system using Purchase Orders and not Cycle Counts.
