Adding a New Product
Click the purple "Create Product" button in the top right of the Products section in Admin.

Setting Up Your Product for Sale
1. Set the Product to Active
A product must be Active to appear on your menu and be available for sale.
In the Product Details page, toggle the Active setting ON.
If a product is only available for a special event or limited-time promotion, you can toggle it OFF when it's no longer available instead of deleting it.
2. Fill Out Cannabis Content & Menu Display Unit Type for Compliance
The Cannabis Content section is where Meadow calculates the total THC level on an order to ensure customers stay within daily purchase limits.
Select the appropriate Unit Type for inventory tracking:
Gram → If the product is flower and will be sold/tracked by weight.
Amount should match the product’s weight (e.g. 3.5 for an eighth, 1 for a gram).
Item → If the product is tracked as individual units (e.g., pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, topicals).
Amount should be set per unit (e.g. 1 per unit sold).
💡 Note: Whether Cannabis Content is measured in grams (g) or milligrams (mg) is determined by the Product Category. Categories are set as Concentrated or Non-Concentrated in Product Category Settings.
⚠️ Important: If a cannabis product does not have THC/CBD content filled out, Meadow will not be able to calculate total THC for compliance with state-mandated purchase limits. 📖 Learn more about purchase limits here
✅ Include High-Quality Images – Customers often make purchasing decisions based on product photos. Better images = more sales.
✅ Set Multiple Price Points – If you sell different sizes or options, add multiple price points.
Creating Accessories (Non-Cannabis Products)
Ensure Accessories Are Categorized Correctly
Accessories should be assigned to a dedicated accessory category in Product Category Settings.
In the Product Category Settings, set Cannabis Type to None for accessory products.
Tracking Inventory for Accessories
For non-cannabis products, update the Compliance Status:
Find the product and click the "Inventory" tab.
Set Compliance Status to "No Tracking".
Under Inventory Type, choose:
Track Quantity → If you want Meadow to monitor inventory levels.
No Tracking → If the item does not need inventory tracking.
