Any time a customer places an order at POS you will be able to see what rewards they are eligible for, if any. When a customer has accrued enough points to redeem for a reward, it will show up in the "Rewards available" list.
After a customer has been added to an order at POS and they have added a product to their cart, you can select "Rewards available" to see their choices.
In the example below, the customer can choose between redeeming cash back on their order or free swag.
Selecting "Swag" brings up a view of the available products that fall into that reward type.
Once the free product reward has been selected, you will see the screen below. Click "Apply Reward" when the customer has made their choice.
Now you will see that another item has been added to the cart ("2 items in cart") and the subtotal will change to reflect that.
Underneath this, you can see a checkmark next to "Swag" and the dollar value the customer is saving on this order.
Now continue to complete the transaction like any other: select the payment type and finalize the order. You've successfully rewarded a loyal customer!
NOTE: Currently, rewards only show up in POS after a customer adds a product to their cart. If a customer ONLY wants to redeem points on a free product and not buy anything, they will have to add that free product to the cart first, then select it as a reward from the "Rewards available" list.
