Before you can start tracking inventory in Meadow, you'll have to do two things:
You must FIRST create a product before adding inventory for the first time
Then you must choose an inventory tracking type (Pricing Option / No Tracking)
The type of tracking is selected in the Inventory tab of the product page (image below) and once set cannot be changed.
The different ways you can track inventory in Meadow are the following:
OPTION
This is used for tracking products by unit. Use this tracking type if you are:
Selling pre-packed flower (grams, eighths)
Selling product that comes in units (vape cartridges, edibles)
**For licensed dispensaries in California, you should be OPTION tracking all cannabis products**
NONE (Not tracking inventory)
This can be used for products which you don't want to track inventory for.
