This allows approved accounts to:

  • Broadcast headings across multiple accounts

  • Broadcast announcements across multiple accounts

Broadcast content lets dashboard managers for a ‘parent account' add content across a number of ‘sub accounts’ or ‘child accounts’. This means that mobile users that are logged in to any of the ‘child accounts' will all be able to see the same broadcast content regardless of which ‘child account’ they are logged in to. If that content is updated by a dashboard manager for the ‘parent account’ it is automatically updated for everyone logged in to any of the ‘child accounts’ as well.

This lets organisations with responsibilities across multiple facilities communicate consistently and at scale while maintaining the integrity of the content that is managed at the local or ‘child account’ level. Dashboard managers for the ‘parent’ account cannot see or edit any content that is managed at the ‘child account’ level.

Structure

Parent Account

  • Child Account (receives some content and announcements from parent)

  • Child Account (receives some content and announcements from parent)

  • Child Account (receives some content and announcements from parent)

  • ....

Child accounts can be added or removed from the parent account using the super admin config page which is managed by MedApps Ops team.

Content

Dashboard managers at the ‘child account’ level can view the broadcast content on their dashboard but cannot edit or delete it. Any Broadcast heading is identified with a tag indicating the 'parent account’ that is responsible for managing it.

Announcements

Broadcast Announcements lets account managers for a ‘parent account’ send out push notifications to all mobile users who are logged into any of their ‘child accounts’. When a mobile user (or dashboard user) for a ‘child account' sees the the announcement it is identified with a tag indicating that it has come from the 'parent account’.
