Laser and Light Classification
The Luma is independently certified as a Class 1 light device. This means that under all normal, everyday operating conditions, the light output remains safe and specialized medical eye-protection goggles are not required for you or your pet.
Practical Safety Rules
While the device is completely safe for standard use, you should still practice common-sense caution:
Never look or stare directly into the active light-emitting diodes at close range for long periods.
Do not shine the active light path directly into your pet's eyes.
If your pet's custom protocol involves treating conditions near the head, muzzle, ears, or face, always consult your clinician via the top-left app chat to map out a safe and comfortable placement pattern.
