A Gamified Survey is one of our top recommended ways to gain insights from your audience all by using MemberVault and your preferred email tool.
It's a step up from just a regular survey because you can deliver a fun reward to your survey participants when they answer the questions!
This article will cover the part of the process where you deliver your reward email once a member completes your survey.
While MV doesn’t send any emails on your behalf, you can easily create one and trigger the email using our Actions feature. This article will show you how using Kit.

The MV Set-up
Step 1: Go to Product and Click 'edit' for the product you are working on.
Step 2: Scroll down until you find the Actions area at the very bottom of the Product settings page. Click 'Add Action':
Step 3: Under the "When this Happens..." area, use the drop down menu to select "Completes Lesson" or "Passes Quiz" as the trigger for your Action. (either one will work in this case)
Step 4: Under the Name of Tag area, you’ll need to create a tag specific to someone completing that specific product.
NOTE: The ‘user_tag’ is just a placeholder so you’ll need to add an actual name there for this to be able to work.
We’d recommend naming it something that is easy for you to recognize and filter. For example 'Survey Name_Completed’.
You can use an existing tag that you've already created in your Kit account or you can use a brand new one.
The most important thing is to ensure the tag you note in your Action exactly matches what you have in your Kit account.
That’s it! Now, when someone completes your lesson containing your survey, the tag will be automatically applied to their contact profile in your Kit account.
The Kit Set-Up
Step 1: Open your Kit account and go to Automate > Visual Automation
Step 2: Click "+ New Automation." Then click "Start Building"
Step 3: Select "Is added to a tag"
Step 4: Add the same tag name exactly as you entered it in your product's Action settings, then click "Add Event."
Step 5: Click the + button to add a step, then under "Action," select "Email Sequence."
Step 6: Follow the directions from Kit to insert an existing email sequence or to create a new one.
Make sure the sequence you've created is set to "Active" so your automation can run! Kit will prompt you if this sequence is Inactive.

Step 7: Once you've completed your sequence and automation, make sure to name your automation (we suggest using something very clear that denotes the automation purpose) and set your automation to Active.
