If you have set it up so that new users get automatically signed up to your mailing list when they sign up for your Subscriber Hub or Freebie Library, you may want them to also be automatically removed from your MemberVault account when they unsubscribe from your email list.

We generally don't recommend removing people's access from your MV when they unsubscribe, since they might still be engaging with you in other places that you'd share your MV link, like your YouTube channel (for example).

Sometimes people unsubscribe in a big blanket inbox purge, and then come back, and again, sometimes they just prefer a cleaner inbox but would actually still engage in your MV (and potentially purchase) when you share links on social media.

That said, if your email tool allows webhooks, you can absolutely set up an automated system so that when someone unsubscribes, it triggers an automation in your email tool, and has them flow through the "remove webhook" link for your free product.

The set up of the webhook is dependent on your email tool. When setting up the webhook, choose the one that removes access from a product.

For email tools that don't have webhooks, you can use a tool like Zapier to automate the process.

When you delete a user from your account, they won't get any emails from us. Their access and engagement data will simply be removed from that product.
