How to Perform Bulk Actions on Mentions

Save time by applying actions to multiple mentions at once, automatically or manually.

The bulk actions feature helps you efficiently manage and organize large volumes of mentions. There are two ways to do this in Mentionlytics:

1. Automation Rules

Set up automation rules that will apply actions to mentions based on the trackers or keywords you choose.

  1. Go to Settings > Automations & Tags and click Add New Rule.

  2. Name your rule and select the trackers or categories it applies to.

  3. Create a Boolean filter to define when the rule applies.

  4. Choose the actions to apply automatically to matching mentions (e.g. tagging, assigning, etc).

2. Manual Bulk Actions

In the All Mentions page (Menu > Mentions > All Mentions), you can select multiple mentions and act on them all at once.

To select mentions, you can either:

  • Tick them one by one, or

  • Use Select All / Deselect All to grab everything at once.

Select mentions in bulk

Once you've made your selection, the following bulk actions are available:

  • Set Sentiment

  • Set Emotion

  • Set Relevance

  • Assign / Label (including notes)

  • Tags — add in bulk, remove in bulk, or clear all tags from your selection

  • Delete
