When you’re part of the Merchynt Agency Partner Program, one of the most powerful tools in your sales process is the ability to run a 1-time GBP optimization for a potential client.

This is a short, one-off service designed to give a new lead a taste of what Paige can do—without locking them into a full subscription right away. It’s the perfect “foot in the door” strategy: you show them content quickly, build trust, and set yourself up to upsell them into full management afterward.

Why the 3-Day Optimization Exists

You might be wondering: why not just start your potential client on a regular Paige subscription, publish a few posts, and then cancel it? Technically, you can. But here’s why the 3-Day Optimization option was created instead:

  • Cash flow matters. With a full subscription, you’d need to pay upfront and then wait to get credited back for unused time if you cancel early. That refund can take months if you don’t already have a large number of clients on Paige that can eat up the credits quickly.

  • Faster turnaround. The 3-Day Optimization is prepaid ($15), runs for exactly three days, and cancels automatically when the period is over—no waiting for credits or adjustments, or having to remind yourself to cancel it.

  • Same great features. Even though it’s a short subscription, you’ll have enough time to publish posts, answer Q&As, videos, run a baseline report, and more. That means your potential client can see firsthand the value of Paige’s tools and your agency’s expertise.

👉 Over time, our goal is to lower the price of the 3-Day Optimization. Right now, it’s set at $15 while we work on reducing some backend costs, but it’s not meant as a money-maker. It’s a partner-first feature to help agencies like yours grow faster.

Step-by-Step: How to Set Up a 3-Day Optimization

Follow these steps to onboard your potential client just like you would for any full Paige subscriber:

  1. Log in to your Paige account

  2. Click Businesses -> Add a business like you usually would

  3. Choose the 3-Day Optimization option from the subscription selection dropdown

  4. Complete the payment.

That’s it! Your client is now set up with Paige, and you have three days to show off what your agency and our platform can do.

What You Can Deliver in 3 Days

To make the most of the optimization period, we recommend focusing on quick wins that show clear value. Here are a few ideas:

  • Publish Posts → Show them how professional, consistent posting looks.

  • Ask & Answer Q&As → Demonstrate how detailed your understanding of their business is.

  • Upload Videos → These have high perceived value to clients.

  • Show them the review request tools → Show them how easy you make it for them to get SEO-optimized reviews.

This “taste test” is often all a business needs to see the value of moving forward with full Paige management.

Next Steps: Upselling to Full Management

At the end of the 3-day period, your client will no longer have an active Paige subscription and their tools will stop working. That’s your moment to follow up with them.

  • Share the work you did during the optimization.

  • Walk them through the baseline report and work created.

  • Explain how much more consistent and effective things will be with ongoing management.

Since they’ve already seen the quality of Paige content and the ease of the platform, the leap to a full subscription feels much smaller.

Final Thoughts

The 3-Day Optimization is designed to help you land more long-term clients without putting a strain on your agency’s cash flow. It’s fast, easy to set up, and gives your potential clients a real taste of what you can do for them with Paige.
