🚨 Very Important Warning: Don’t Overuse On-Demand Reports

We strongly do NOT recommend running reports more often than every 30 days.

SEO changes (like updates to your Google Business Profile, citations, etc.) usually take weeks, not days, to show up in search rankings. If you run on-demand reports too frequently (for example, every few days or every week), you will likely see almost no meaningful change—which means you are just burning through paid credits for nothing.

Remember:

  • Your free monthly report is usually enough to track SEO progress.

  • Use on-demand reports sparingly, only when you genuinely need an extra check (for example, after a major change).

1. What Is On-Demand Reporting?

On-demand reporting in Paige lets you:

  • Generate a fresh ranking report whenever you want, instead of waiting for your next scheduled monthly report.

  • See an updated heatmap of how you’re ranking for your keywords across your service area.

This is optional and is meant for:

  • Agencies who want an extra check before a client call

  • Businesses that just made a big SEO change and want to see impact after some time

  • Anyone who occasionally needs a fresh report before the next monthly one arrives

You do not need on-demand reports to use Paige successfully. Every Paige subscription already includes free monthly reporting.

2. Monthly Reports vs On-Demand Reports

🔎 Key point: On-demand reports are extra. They do not replace or change your normal monthly reports.

3. How On-Demand Report Credits Work

To run an on-demand report, you must have On-Demand Report Credits in your account.

Here’s how they work:

  • 1 report = 1 credit
It doesn’t matter how many keywords are on the report; each report uses exactly one credit.

  • Credits are sold in packages

    • We offer different packages, ranging roughly from 25 credits up to 250 credits.

    • Buy the package that best fits how often you really need extra reports.

  • Credits never expire

    • If you don’t use them right away, that’s okay.

    • You can keep them and use them whenever you actually need an on-demand report.

  • One-time purchase (not a subscription)

    • On-Demand Report Credits are a single purchase, not a recurring charge.

    • You only pay again if you choose to buy more credits later.

  • No refunds on unused credits if you cancel Paige

    • If you cancel your Paige subscription, any unused on-demand credits are not refunded.

  • Monthly reports do not use credits

    • Your included monthly report is always free as part of your Paige subscription.

    • Only on-demand reports use your credits.

4. When Should You Use an On-Demand Report?

Because credits cost money and SEO takes time, on-demand reports are best used:

  • At least 14 days after your last report, and after you’ve:

    • Made meaningful website changes (new content, service pages, etc.)

    • Updated your Google Business Profile

    • Completed a local SEO campaign or optimization

  • When you need a fresh snapshot before:

    • A client review meeting

    • An internal performance review

    • Showing off results after a campaign has had time to “settle”

Avoid using on-demand reports:

  • Every few days

  • Every week

  • Right after making changes (they usually won’t show yet)

💸 Remember: If rankings haven’t had time to change, you’re paying credits to see almost the same map.

5. How to Check Your Credits & Buy More

You can see how many on-demand credits you have and purchase more right from the Reports tab.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Paige.

  2. In the main navigation, click on the “Reports” tab.

  3. Look near the top right of the Reports page for the “+ Create Report” button.

  4. A panel or screen will appear where you can:

    • See how many on-demand credits you have remaining.

    • Find the option to purchase more credits if your balance is low or zero.

  5. If you need more:

    • Select the credit package you want (for example, a smaller or larger bundle depending on how often you plan to use on-demand reports).

    • Complete the checkout steps shown on screen.

Once the purchase is complete, your new credit balance will appear in the same area.

6. How to Run an On-Demand Report (Step-by-Step)

Here’s exactly how to trigger an on-demand report:

  1. Go to the Reports tab

    • Log in to Paige.

    • Click the “Reports” tab in the main navigation.

  2. Click “+ Create Report”

    • Look near the top right corner of the Reports page.

    • Click the “Create Report” button.

  3. Check your On-Demand Credits

    • In the create report screen, you’ll see your remaining on-demand credit balance.

    • If you don’t have any credits:

      • Use the option there to purchase credits.

      • Once the purchase is complete, return to the create report.

  4. Immediate processing (ignores business hours)

    • On-demand reports run right away, regardless of:

      • Time of day

      • Day of the week

    • This is different from your automatic monthly reports, which only run during business hours.

7. What You’ll See While the Report Runs

Once you click to create the on-demand report:

  1. Within about 30 seconds

    • Go back to the Reports tab.

    • You’ll see the heatmaps on the right side of the screen showing as processing.

    • “Processing” means: The report has started generating and the local audits are in progress.

  2. Over the next few minutes

    • The system collects fresh ranking data.

    • The newest heatmaps will appear once the audits are complete.

  3. When the report is complete

    • The heatmap on the Reports tab will show the updated data.

    • Anyone configured in your report automation settings to receive reports will get an email notification about this on-demand report.

✉️ Note: The same people who receive your regular reports (as set in your report automation settings) will also get notified about on-demand reports.

8. Does an On-Demand Report Affect My Monthly Reports?

No. Running an on-demand report:

  • ❌ Does not cancel your monthly report.

  • ❌ Does not change your monthly schedule.

  • ✅ Your automated monthly report will still run as planned, during business hours, on its usual schedule.

  • ✅ The on-demand report is just an extra snapshot in between your regular reports.

9. Quick Summary

  • On-demand reporting = extra, manual reports you run whenever you choose.

  • Each on-demand report uses 1 credit, no matter how many keywords are on it.

  • Credits are one-time purchases, available in packages (around 25–250 credits), and never expire.

  • Unused credits are not refunded if you cancel your Paige subscription.

  • Monthly reports are included for free, don’t use credits, and still run on their schedule.
