Optimizations: Where Paige Does the Heavy Lifting 💪

During onboarding, Paige walks you through the Optimizations tab. This is where she cleans up any issues in your Google Business Profile and makes sure everything aligns with the SEO strategy you set earlier — including your target keywords and important cities.

Paige automatically reviews key parts of your profile and suggests improvements. For each suggestion, you can simply click Save or Ignore.

👉 If you Save, the change is pushed directly to your Google Business Profile — no copying, pasting, or manual updates needed.

Here’s exactly how Paige makes optimization recommendations:

1. Business Description

Paige checks:

  • Is your description long enough?

  • Does it properly include your target cities and important cities?

If it’s missing anything, she’ll suggest an SEO-optimized version.

2. Services

Paige looks at whether you:

  • Have enough services listed

  • Are missing common or high-impact services for your industry

She’ll recommend new services if needed. Note: if your business category does not support services the services suggestions will not appear.

3. Service Descriptions

Every service should have an SEO-optimized description.

Paige checks:

  • Existing services

  • Newly recommended services

If any are missing descriptions (or could be improved), she’ll write them for you. Note: if your business category does not support services the service descriptions suggestions will not appear.

4. Attributes

This is your chance to shine ✨
Paige encourages you to enable as many attributes as possible — as long as they’re truthful. The more attributes you have, the better Google understands (and rewards) your business.

5. Social Media Links

Paige prompts you to add:

  • All social media links

  • Any additional info Google asks for like appointment or texting links

📌 Pro tip: If Google asks for it, they usually reward you for providing it.
You may even want to create social profiles if you don’t have them yet — it’s worth it.

6. Bad Reviews

Paige reviews all negative reviews and:

  • Identifies which ones may violate Google’s terms

  • Explains why they should be flagged

  • Flags them for removal on your behalf

⚠️ There’s no guarantee a review will be removed, but:

  • The faster it’s flagged

  • The more people flag it for the same reason

…the more likely Google removes it. Paige also continues flagging bad reviews as they come in as part of your subscription.

7. Unanswered Reviews

Paige checks for reviews that don’t have replies and:

  • Suggests responses for each one

  • Lets you approve or ignore individually — or all at once

Important:

  • If you click Ignore, Paige assumes you never want replies to old reviews.

  • If you don’t click Ignore, Paige will:

    • Reply to 5 old reviews per day

    • Starting with reviews from the past 6 months

    • Until they’re all done

Coming Back Later 🔁

You can always return to Optimizations by going to:
Businesses → View Details → Optimizations

When you come back later, you’ll also see an Audit section at the top. This compares your settings and activity against the top 10% of Google Business Profiles Paige manages. This should be the first place you check if your rankings aren’t improving over time.
