Keeping track of upcoming interviews is crucial to staying organised and ensuring every interview runs smoothly.

While email notifications for newly scheduled interviews keep interviewers and notification subscribers informed, an agenda view offers an even better way to stay in control.

Mercu offers two agenda views:

  • One global agenda view at the account level

  • One local agenda view for each job

Global agenda view

The global agenda view can be accessed by all portal users from the side nav. It is divided into two tabs: My Agenda and Team Agenda.

My Agenda

The My Agenda tab lists all upcoming interviews where the logged-in user is either the interviewer or the hiring manager, in cases where the interviewer is set to 'Manager on Duty'.

Team Agenda

The Team Agenda tab lists all upcoming interviews for jobs that the logged-in user has access to but where they are neither the interviewer nor the hiring manager.

Job-level agenda view

The job-level agenda view is accessible to anyone with access to a specific job. To access it, simply click the calendar icon in the view switcher for that job (see screenshot below).

The job-level agenda view lists all upcoming interviews for that particular job.

Understanding agenda views

All agenda views are organised by day and further grouped by each interview slot with a confirmed booking. They only show upcoming interviews.

1-on-1 interviews

1-on-1 interviews will appear as an individual row in the Agenda view.

Each row displays the following details:

  • Interview stage name (customisable in the 'Stages' tab when editing the job)

  • Candidate name

  • Interviewer conducting the interview

Clicking on a candidate's name opens a side panel with additional details.

If a candidate books and later cancels their interview, a "Cancelled" tag will appear next to their name, making it easy to track changes in your interview schedule.

Group interviews

Any group interviews appear as individual rows in the agenda view. You can expand a row to see the following details:

  • The names of candidates booked for the interview slot

  • Their confirmation status

  • Any candidates who have canceled their booking

Clicking on a candidate's name will open a side panel where you can view more details.

FAQs

  • How can I view past interviews? There is no way to view past interviews from the agenda view today. This is something we're working on and will likely deliver in 2025. In the meantime, past interviews are displayed on each application.

  • How can I export the agenda view? You can export the global agenda view (both tabs) as a csv file by clicking on the Export button.
