If you connect your calendar to Mercu, you can use it for automated interview scheduling. Mercu will check your calendar availability, return available slots to candidates, and create an event on your calendar when a candidate books.

There are two ways to connect your calendar to Mercu: globally (via the green circle with your initials) or within the context of a job's scheduling stage.

πŸ’‘ You only need to connect your calendar once. Once connected, you can use it across any interview scheduling stage.

Global calendar connection

To connect your calendar via the global entry point, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the green circle in the top right with your initials.

  2. Click "Add availability."

  3. Select your calendar provider from the list in the pop-up.

  4. Complete the setup steps.

πŸŽ‰ Your calendar is now connected to Mercu!

Scheduling Stage Calendar Connection

To connect your calendar via a scheduling stage, follow these steps:

  1. Open a job with a scheduling stage.

  2. Click 'Edit job'

  3. Select the scheduling stage.

  4. Click 'Configure' interview settings.

  5. In the Interviewer section, click 'Connect Calendar'

  6. Select your calendar provider from the list in the pop-up.

  7. Complete the setup steps.

πŸŽ‰ Your calendar is now connected to Mercu!

If you encounter an admin approval request when trying to connect your Office 365 calendar, please contact your IT team and ask them to install the Cronofy Enterprise 365 Connector via this link. Cronofy is the unified calendar API provider we use to connect your calendar to Mercu.

Relinking your calendar

In some cases, your previously connected calendar may become disconnected. If this happens, you will receive an automated email from Cronofy (the provider we use for calendar integration) prompting you to relink your calendar. Please do not ignore this email or mark it as spam. Follow the instructions provided in the email, as failing to do so will prevent candidates from scheduling time with you. We will also reach out to you directly.
