If you need to deactivate an employee because they are currently not working with you or won’t be accessing the client’s facilities for a period of time, you can administratively deactivate them. This is particularly useful if you work with a client using the invoicing module, as it prevents billing for that resource while they are inactive.
Steps to administratively deactivate an employee:
Access the employee's details.
Click on the "Administratively Deactivate" icon.
Issues with the "Administratively Deactivate" icon:
If you cannot see the icon, it is likely that you have an outstanding payment in your Metacontratas account. To resolve this:
Check your Metacontratas balance.
Recharge your outstanding balance.
Once the balance is updated, the option to Administratively Deactivate will become available again.
How to recover an employee that has been administratively deactivated:
To recover an employee that has been administratively deactivated, you will need to recreate them in the system. When you do this, the platform will recover all the documentation previously uploaded for that employee.
