Allocating a berth and managing requested utilities and services are crucial for ensuring a smooth experience for boaters. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to enhance operational efficiency and boater satisfaction.
How to allocate a Berth
Step 1: Access the Booking Request
When accessing a pending booking request, navigate to the "Current Berth Allocation" section. Initially, no berth will be assigned.
Step 2: Change Berth
Now, click on Change Berth. The system will present a list of available berths, prioritized based on suitability. Choose the berth that best matches the boater's requirements.
Select a suitable berth and click "Change Berth" to finalize the allocation.
Managing Requested Utilities and Services
Boaters often specify utilities and services they require during their stay. This could include access to the fuel station, water supply, electricity, and more. Here's how to manage these requests efficiently.
Step 1: Access Utilities and Services Requests
First, go to the Requested Utilities & Services section on the Booking page (under the Current Berth Allocation section).
Step 2: Manage Requests
Then, click on the three dots on the right side of the request and accept or reject the requested utilities based on availability and compatibility.
Note: once you have accepted or rejected the Utilities & Services the boater will be automatically notified about the status of their requested services.
