Viewing Your List of Meters and Exporting the Latest Reads

The Meter List simplifies access to your meters and latest meter reads, supporting efficient data management and reporting.

Here's how you can view your meter list and export the latest reads for your records.


Viewing Your List of Meters

Access the List of Meters Tab

  1. Log in to The Meter Portal.

  2. Navigate to the Meter List tab on the dashboard.

  3. View a complete list of all your meters, organised by key details such as: Meter Serial Number, Meter Reference, Latest Meter Read, Date of Latest Read, Daily Average Consumption.


Search and Filter Meters

  1. Search: Use the search bar to find specific meters by Point of Service (PoS), Meter ID, or Customer Ref.

  2. Apply Filters: Refine your view by applying filters such as:

    • Site

    • Area

    • Retailer

  3. Sort Columns: Organise data based on columns like Daily Avg. Consumption, sorting from high to low or as needed.


Latest Reads at a Glance

  • The meter list includes a column for the latest reads, which are updated in real-time or based on the most recent data received.

  • Quickly review current consumption data without needing to click into individual meters.


Exporting Latest Reads

1. Select Meters for Export

  • On the Meters List tab, select the meters you wish to export.

  • You can:

    • Select individual meters.

    • Apply a filter to narrow the list, then select the meters you require.

2. Export the Data

  • Click the Export button located at the top or bottom of the page.

3. Customise the Export File

Before exporting, customise the file contents by:

  • Including specific data fields, such as meter ID, location, and latest read.

4. Download and Review

  • Once the export is generated, download the file to your device.

  • Use your preferred software (e.g., Excel) to review or integrate the data into your systems.


Additional Note

For larger meter lists, the export file may be sent to you automatically via email as a download link.
