How Smart QR Codes Work

Smart QR Codes automatically detect the user’s app status:

  • No app installed → prompts download, account setup, and sign-in.

  • App installed and signed in → goes directly to the group join screen.

Downloading Join Instructions

  1. Click Download Join Instructions next to the team name.

  2. Select code type: Members, Managers, or Both.

  3. A PDF will be generated with the QR code and instructions for printing.

Each Jobsite and team has both a Member code and a Manager code.

Member vs. Manager Codes

  • Member Code → Allows workers to:

    • View messages

    • Respond to bulletin board messages

    • Complete assignments

  • Manager Code → Allows managers to:

    • Join as a team manager

    • Send messages to their specific team

    • View member activity and profiles

⚠️ Share Manager codes only with trusted individuals, since they grant elevated permissions.

Joining as a Member

  1. Scan the QR code – download the app if needed.

  2. Sign in / Create an account – skipped if already signed in.

  3. Join the Group – confirm and click Continue.

  4. With a Jobsite code, Choose Teams – select teams and click Join.

  5. Access Messages – scan another code or open the message feed.

Joining as a Team Manager

  1. Scan the Manager QR code – download the app if needed.

  2. Sign in / Create an account – skipped if already signed in.

  3. Join the Group – confirm and click Continue.

  4. With a Jobsite code, Choose Teams – select to join as a manager or member for each team, then click Join.

  5. Access Messages – scan another code or open the message feed.
