The Catalog block lists every published course and collection in your workspace in one place. Add it to your Showcase page or a collection landing page, and learners can see everything you offer at a glance, search it, and filter it down to what they need.
Each card also shows the learner's own progress, so they can tell what they've already started.
ℹ️ The Catalog block is available on your Showcase page and on collection landing pages. You can add one Catalog block per page.
What learners see
On the left there's a filter sidebar, and on the right a grid of cards.
• Search finds courses and collections by name.
• Content type narrows the list to Courses, Collections, or both.
• Tags filters collections by the tags you've made public (more on this below).
Every card shows the thumbnail, a COURSE or COLLECTION label, the title, the description and a progress bar. More cards load as the learner scrolls.
A collection's progress is the share of its courses the learner has completed. If a collection has 5 courses and the learner has finished 2, the card shows 40%.
ℹ️ Progress belongs to a signed-in learner. Visitors who aren't signed in see every card at 0%.
On mobile, the search bar stays at the top and the filters fold behind a button, so the cards get the full width of the screen.
What appears in the catalog
The catalog fills itself from your workspace. There's nothing to pick by hand.
• Published courses that aren't part of a collection.
• Collections that contain at least one published course.
A course inside a collection isn't listed on its own, because the collection's card already represents it. Drafts and hidden courses never appear.
⚠️ The catalog lists published content from your whole workspace, not only the collection whose landing page it sits on.
💡 Showing a collection in the catalog doesn't change who can open it. If a collection is behind a paywall or invitation-only access, learners still go through that step when they open it.
How to add the Catalog block
Go to Collections and click Edit showcase page. For a collection, open the collection and go to its Landing page tab.
Click Edit landing page, select Index from the drag-and-drop panel on the right, and drag the Catalog block onto your page.
The editor shows your real published content, so what you see is what learners get.
Block settings
Click the block and open its settings.
• Columns: how many cards sit side by side, from 1 to 5. The default is 3.
• Show Price Tag: off by default. Turn it on to show prices on collection cards. Courses don't carry a price, so their cards stay as they are.
The "Catalog" heading above the block is regular text, so you can click it and type your own.
Changing the order
By default, the catalog lists content by publish date, oldest first, with courses and collections mixed in one list.
To set your own order, click the Ordering icon in the block's toolbar. The Edit order window opens. Drag items into the order you want and click Save.
💡 Your saved order stays in place. Anything you publish later is added to the end of the list, so check the order again after a big release.
Showing tags to learners
The Tags filter uses your Collection Tags. When you create a tag, you choose its visibility:
• Private: only you and your team can see it. This is the default.
• Public: shown to learners in the catalog.
Public tags carry a small globe icon in your collections list. Only public tags that are assigned to at least one listed collection show up in the filter, so learners never pick a tag that returns nothing.
ℹ️ Tags live on collections, so selecting a tag shows collections only. If a learner selects Course and a tag together, the list comes back empty.
When a search or filter has no results, learners see "Nothing to show here" with a button to clear their filters.
