There are a number of ways to temporarily close your online store via:

Close online store via Order Commander:
If you want to temporarily close your online store during trading hours then the quickest way to do so is via your Order Commander.
If you have more than 1 site select the appropriate site
Select the menu icon (three horizontal lines) top left
Select Settings
You can now Suspend Orders for:
Collections
Deliveries
Eating In
You can suspend orders to resume after a specific time period
Select the time period and then click OK
You will now notice a RESUME button has appeared in the bottom right hand corned of the screen. Clicking RESUME will override any specific time period set.
The message that customers see when a store has been suspended can be amended via Tillconfig.net > Delivery Settings > Suspend Sales Message
Close Online Store via Tillconfig.net:
Log into tillconfig.net
Select the TAKEAWAY menu option
Select Delivery Settings
If you have more than one site, make sure that you select the correct site when making the changes.
On the Closed drop down select Yes
The Closed Message field enables you to add a custom messsage that the customer sees.
