By default all product and keyboard allocation changes are made live. Once the save button has been pressed, the changes are sent down to the EPoS terminals.

If an EPoS terminal does not have a connection to the internet at the time of the changes, the updates will be applied to that EPoS terminal the next time it connects to the internet.

You can view any pending updates via the Terminals menu. You can then click on the pendin update qty to view the updates. If you have multiple POS terminals, click on Head Office to select the site - this enables you to see the update status for each EPoS terminal.

In some circumstances you may not wish changes to be made live. For example, new price or menu changes that kick in on a future date.

Scheduling changes:

The schedule feature enable you to make a batch of changes in advance and set a date and time when the changes will be sent to the EPoS terminals.

How to setup Scheduled Price changes:

  • Click Products menu

  • Click the Schedule button

  • From the pop up, select the date & time you want the updates to apply

  • Click the Set Schedule button

  • You will now see the message:

    • All changes will be scheduled for date / time you selected

    • A change this button is also visible - clicking this enables you to change date/time set

    • Make your changes and then click the Save button

Changing the date / time of scheduled updates:

  • In the Products > PLU Programming menu, click the Change this button

  • Amend the date and time for the updates and click the Set Schedule button

Deleting scheduled updates:

  • In the Terminals menu, click on the pending updates qty to display the scheduled updates

  • Click on the cancel button for each update you want to remove

You can toggle between Live updates and Scheduled updates. Live updates will appear as Pending Updates as opposed to Scheduled Updates.
