I cannot take, run or print my End of Day Z Report

Cause:

The EPOS system may be configured to prevent you taking an end of day Z report if a clerk or table (check) is still active / open.

Solution:

If you see a pop up window with the message β€œActive Checks” this means that you have stored tables or checks that have not been cashed off.

  • Go to the table plan and see which tables are still active.

  • Select (open) the active table and then cash the table off.

  • Once all the tables have been chased off you should then be able to run your end of day Z report.

If you see a pop up window with the message β€œclerk name, Active” this means that you have one or more clerks that have a transaction stored against them and not cashed off.

  • Log on as the clerk listed in the pop up window

  • Cash off the transaction (it may be a zero balance transaction)

  • If multiple clerks have stored transactions then you will have to repeat this process

  • Once all the clerks have been chased off you should then be able to run your end of day Z report
