How to reset an account balance held on the POS terminal.

To reset an individual customer account balance to zero, follow the steps below:

  • On the POS terminal select End of Day Reports (Z Mode).

  • Sign on with your clerk code.

  • Select the Period 1 Reports button.

  • Select 20. Customer Reports from the report list

    • Select 8. Customer Balance from the Customer Reports List.

    • Select 5. A Single Customer when prompted Which Customer?

    • Select the Customer (entering the customer number is the easiest way to find them) you wish to reset the balance for and press the Return button.

    • A pop up window will appear, showing the balance has been reset.

    • Press the ESC button to exit the process.
