1. Payment settings

With MOGU you always know what you are going to pay. No matter what size you are, no matter how big, medium or small your trip is. And the decision is yours. You can take the commission or pass it on to the end customer. Complete freedom. The process is simple:

  • Go to the "Settings" section (in the sidebar).

  • Click on "Payment settings", and there decide whether you want to enable or disable that option.

The setting is GLOBAL for your account. It cannot be configured per trip, or per product type. If a change were to be made, it would affect all payments, except those installments of a payment schedule that are already in place, i.e. those payments that are pending collection.

In addition, both when creating payment links and payment schedules, the agency will be able to see and make sure whether commissions are included in their payments or not. An informative text like this will appear (with more information by clicking on it):

2. Specify a price

When indicating any price (whether on a trip, payment links, extra services, etc.) the agency will always be informed of the corresponding commission according to the contracted plan.

3. If the agency add the commission to the price.

If the agency passes the commission on to the client, the corresponding commission would always be broken down in the payment window. For a commission of 1% and for a payment of €100, the customer would pay €101 and the agency would receive €100. In the case of a payment schedule, the operation would be the same, the client pays €303 and the agency receives €300.

Real example of commission transfer: an agency in Premium plan (commission 2.6%) charges a trip of €1000. The customer pays in full (top image) / chooses a payment schedule (bottom image).

Once the payment has been processed, the agency would see it in its "Sales" tab as follows:

As it is a payment schedule, each installment will be shown with the commission included. If an installment paid in cash is marked, the total amount will be recalculated excluding the corresponding commission from the amount of that payment.

4. If the agency does NOT add the commission to the price.

If the agency does NOT pass on the commission to the client, it will not be shown in the payment window at any time. For a commission of 1% and for a payment of €100, the customer would pay €99 and the agency would receive €100. In the case of a payment schedule, the operation would be the same, the client pays €300 and the agency receives €297.

Real example of NO commission transfer: an agency on Premium plan (commission 2.6%) charges a trip of €1000. The customer pays in full (top image) / chooses a payment schedule (bottom image).

As indicated above, from the customer's point of view, no reference to the commission would be made in the payment window. The agency will see the commission processed in its "sales" section as follows:

5. Invoices

Commissions are settled at the time of payment. Invoices are issued on the 1st and 15th of each month. For example, on the 14th an agency makes a payment of €100 for a 1% commission. Therefore, on the 15th, the corresponding invoice of €1 will have been generated.
