Moovs uses Stripe to process card details. The card issuer can check the billing postal code and CVC supplied with a card. A failed check can cause the card to be rejected or a later payment to be declined.
What the checks mean
CVC check: compares the security code entered with the card issuer's records.
ZIP code check: compares the billing postal code with the card issuer's records.
A successful payment does not necessarily mean every verification check passed. Issuers and payment-risk rules can treat check results differently.
How to resolve a mismatch
Ask the cardholder to confirm the billing postal code and CVC with their card issuer.
Delete the rejected card from the contact or company profile, then add it again using the corrected information.
If it is still rejected, use another card or ask the cardholder to contact their issuer.
Moovs cannot override a decline returned by Stripe or the card issuer.
